New Direction Our annual events in the centre of Shrewsbury have gone down so well that we are increasing our commitment to this experimental, collaborative digital performance night. But we want to take it into different territory. We recognise that while feedback from the small but select audience was 100% positive, feedback from those that didn't come was largely about the venue: the wrong place. But Humans is not viable elsewhere unless we do some serious promotion - and we aren't, nor do we want to be, promoters. We are thinking about a closed session, perhaps put on a silent feature film and jam our way through it. Recording it for potential podcasting, making new links and trying new things, and not worrying about the management of, and aesthetic for, an expectant audience. We become what we behold. We are always looking for new collaborations on The Humans Are Dead nights: screenings, sound installations, 2d/3d art, relating to the flavour of the event - interpret that as you will (no snuff please).
