RECENT PROJECTS

2009 was a key year for Fowler+Sumner's community and education practice, delivering major projects founded on the creative attitudes.

CREATIVE PARTNERSHIPS

We worked on three Enquiry projects and one Change project for Creative Partnerships last year, following four Enquiry projects in 2008.

Last year's Change Project was as part of a team of artists at a Primary and Secondary Pupil Referal Unit. It was their second year of Change funding.

Our three enquiry projects were all at Primary schools, working from foundation through to year six with an emphasis on creative technology.

More details of our CP work can be found by clicking here.

Our Creative Partnerships PDF, which outlines our approach to education work, can be downloaded here.

BEING HOMELESS DVD

Commissioned by Shropshire Council and various housing initiatives, we have produced a documentary film on the difficulties and dangers faced by young people who are homeless.

Aimed at teenagers considering their housing options whilst still at home, the project lifts the lid on the realities of life spent 'sofa-surfing', in hostels, bedsits and on the streets.

Being Homeless is available as an education tool for young people aged 13 - 18.
